The game is about players taking settlement tiles from the game board and placing them into their princedom, which is represented by the player board. Every tile has a function that starts when the tile is placed in the princedom. The princedom itself consists of several regions, each of which demands its own type of settlement tile.

Best buck for content game
Castles of Burgundy is a fantastic board game! It's strategic, accessible, and endlessly enjoyable. A must-have for any game night.
Not too big rules, and mechanics of the game is great. Although interesting for two players while often good games don't allow two players. Even has an option to play alone, but I haven't tried it yet. Strategy, European. Not very competitive (you don hurt other players, which is nice:) )
